Get ready to craft with purpose and heart in this hands-on 3–5 hour journey through Hawaiian arts and sustainable creativity. From weaving with lauhala to natural dyeing, kapa stamping, and recycled art builds, participants will explore the beauty of traditional practices and modern eco-crafts rooted in culture and community.
Each project is more than art—it’s a story. Youth will connect with local materials, learn about resourcefulness and mālama ʻāina (care for the land), and express themselves through creations inspired by the island’s colors, textures, and values.
Whether painting with plant-based pigments or building with beach finds, every keiki becomes both an artist and a steward.
