We are dedicated to providing need-based programming for children. If you're in a position to contribute, a donation to Kahakukahi would be deeply appreciated—every penny goes directly toward supporting our programs and no one is turned away for lack of funds.
Your generosity helps make this work possible, and we couldn’t do it without supporters like you!
Before establishing our permanent site at Honokahua Bay, our family and community built trusted, mobile, action-packed programs under The InZane Super Groms and later Kahākūkahi Ocean Academy — always grounded in aloha, pono practice, and community resilience.
Following the Lahaina fires, we made a deep commitment to create a safe, healing space for our youth through Kahākūkahi Ocean Academy at the Parley AIR Station.
While our location and structure have evolved to meet State and County standards, the heart, spirit, and energy behind our programs remain unchanged.
KOA KAI represents the next evolution of our trusted programs — honoring the legacy of where we started and embracing the growth of where we are headed.
These signature KOA KAI events will continue the energy, innovation, and pono foundation that the Schweitzer ʻohana and our community built over 12+ years — now with expanded resources, passionate leadership, and enhanced safety for every keiki.
